Empor SL

The Shorty and the Empor are popular speakers. We have made the crossover new (better ...) and given the 16 cm bass a new housing.
Voila. I like it. A lot.
A high quality floorstanding speaker at such a price.

Oh yeah. Very pretty. The very first notes of the Empor SL suggest seriousness. These are not hyper-nervous racehorses, but fine dressage professionals. It sounds sonorous, confident and tidy.
The good Kari Bremnes sounds just as “laid back” as it should be for the experienced Norwegian singer. The speaker reproducedthe strong, warm foundation on "Det Vi Har" with effortless seriousness. The voice is perfectly detached exactly in the middle, the finely produced finesse is on point, the slight roughness on the tones too. The whole tenor is autumnal, earthy tones dominate. Let''s change the genre and turn to things with more sleeves: The drums on Springsteen''s "Darkness on the Edge Of Town" have a knack and drive, it sounds like real drums. Which was rather rare in the eighties. I like this voluminous and variable bass, the sound says: "Oh come on, another record side." Sure, it''s a rather defensive set-up, but that''s perfectly fine: nothing annoys, it sounds pleasant and round even after years. FromHighly Recommended!
